Tuscany and Supertuscan wines
The name "Super Tuscan" was coined in the early 1980's in order to generically describe a red wine produced in Tuscany, but there is more. In a broader meaning, we tend to consider as Super Tuscan all the wines produced in Tuscany that do not fall within the production disciplinary of their area of belonging.
They are produced using the traditional Sangiovese and red grapes not native or typical of Italy, such as the international varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah.
We love Chianti, Brunello, Morellino, but… Supertuscan wines are SUPER! We list a few of these and Pedro, as usual, is bringing an amazing parade of them to this September tasting. Join us, for something really amazingly precious, unique and excellent.
Another absolute NOT TO BE MISSED EVENT. Tasting and Tuscan traditional food pairing is R900.00/pp - booking is essential!

Italian Breakfast, every Saturday
We will take you for an Italian breakfast tour every Saturday. Starting on the 6th of September, with Sicilian typical products, our Hive will be a Italian pasticceria, caffe’ bar, just for you and your kids for a few hours!
